Basic Qualifications
• Applicant must be proficient in the integration of COTS products into a J2EE system. Individual will be responsible for working with other team members and software vendors to successfully integrate code and COTS products into the GCSS-J system.
• Applicant must be proficient Java software development and COTS integration in a J2EE environment. Individual will be responsible for the development of new capabilities and the maintenance of existing application capabilities.
• Applicant will be a member of a fast moving development team. Previous success working in a team environment is required along with good written and verbal communication skills. Agile development experience is a plus.
• Applicant must be a self starter/success focused individual, a person capable of taking high level requirements and drilling down to define the underlying user stories and delivering a working/maintainable solution.
• Applicant must have experience with the development of applications for a UNIX (Solaris) server.
• Qualifications for the applicant are a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or one the Engineering disciples, a minimum of 4 years applicable work experience.
• A full SECRET clearance is required; interim secret is acceptable

The STG Client Support organization has openings for supplemental software engineers to provide service support for software, storage, and networking-related solutions on different IBM platforms (for example, iSeries, pSeries). Tasks include working with members of the development, marketing, and sales teams to identify and resolve problems with customer solutions. SW Engineers in this position may also help to design and optimize product solutions for customers. These engineers also work directly with customers to provide L2 and L3 support and resolve field-related issues.
