Qualified Senior Core Java Developer candidates will have five years+ of Senior Java Development experience, preferably in a product environment (usability, etc…), server-side java, web application, development and Oracle PL/SQL (very strong in all 3 areas), can contribute right away, experience in agile development, test-driven design, applying design patterns (they have a good-sized development group involved in all phases of development, including testing/QA), optimally someone who is used to an entrepreneurial environment and ideally a four year degree (preferably an advanced degree) in applied math, engineering or quantitative math but if none of the aforementioned, at least with well grounded high school math and comfortable with concepts like factorial, exponential, etc. (The initial phone screen will consist only of math questions covering these topics).
