Manager, New Business Development Digital Solutions (Audience Activation) - Chicago, IL

Nielsen is looking for as Manager, New Business Development to join our Audience Activation team. This talented team focuses on empowering brands and their agencies to connect more directly with customers by combining Nielsen’s world-class data, analytics, media planning, marketing activation and data management platform capabilities. The data synergies facilitate a deeper understanding of consumers, more effective one-to-one messaging, and superior ROI analysis and campaign optimization.

As a Manager, New Business Development within the Audience Activation team you will be responsible for selling our suite of reach and resonance measurement solutions and DaaS. We are looking for dynamic sellers who are client focused with a background in sales, data driven SaaS solutions and an in-depth knowledge of the digital agency advertising ecosystem. Bottom line – a top sales talent who can prospect, brand, sell, negotiate and close business. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated track record of working successfully with agencies in area of digital media.

Qualifications

 BA/BS degree.
 3+ years of successful experience in a revenue-focused Business Development or Sales role within the advertising, data solutions, or marketing services industry
Skilled developer of growing business from existing accounts
 Talented producer of new business acquisition from non-billing accounts
 Keen collaborator - internally and externally
Strong knowledge of digital advertising systems and business models
 Outstanding analytical and strategic thinking skills
Demonstrated ability to create value for clients in marketing, measurement and research conversation
Outgoing confident individual who is comfortable presenting to senior executives.
Proficient in digital marketing, internet/software industries, understanding of web technologies
Proficient in Salesforce and ability to learn other contract management software systems
 Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages consistently
 Thrive in a fast paced environment in an industry that is constantly evolving
 Some travel required
